Cecilia Barrero

Cecilia is the Firm’s Director of Business Development, with more than 20 years of experience in legal marketing and business development across the Americas. She leads the Firm’s efforts in positioning and growth, client development, and institutional communications.

Cecilia began her career at a regional firm in Central America and has since advised leading law firms in Latin America and the United States on communications, client relations, and business generation. Having lived and worked in six countries, she brings an uncommon sensitivity to multicultural communication. She understands how a firm’s message must adapt from one market to the next without losing its identity and works closely with the Firm’s attorneys to present their capabilities effectively in each market they serve.

A member of the American Bar Association, Cecilia has served for more than six years as Communications Chair of the M&A Committee of the ABA’s International Law Section.
